On August 14, 2019, Nanjing Shangair successfully completed the delivery of supporting air compressors for units 5 and 6 under the joint witness of Zhongfa International Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant Project Department.

Since winning the bid in 2017, under the background of "Shangair" relying on its own continuous efforts, independent design and development, repeated test demonstration and continuous optimization of manufacturing, the project products have formed technical documents and drawings of more than 3500 pages, and accumulated rich experience in manufacturing air compressors for nuclear power stations.

In April 2017, after the air compressor of Shangair special nuclear power station of Ningde nuclear power station in Fujian Province of China was put into operation, Nanjing Shangair independently developed air compressor new technology appraisal meeting organized by Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission passed the expert review of the review committee.

At the same time, as an important part of the safety assurance system of the nuclear power plant, the air compressor system product of this project has been successfully awarded the "first set" product; at the same time, it has also accelerated the pace of localization of air compressor for nuclear power plant in China, and its technical level of the whole machine has exceeded the national standard and has been unanimously praised by the review experts.

Nanjing Shangair nuclear power station air compressor with superb technology, superior performance and quality, broke the monopoly of foreign products in the field of nuclear power, made due contributions to the localization of nuclear power equipment, and made due contributions to China's nuclear power to the world.
